The experience of using Trichoplant and Ekomik Urozhayny in plantings of prickly spruce
During the growing season of 2016, Trichoplant and Ekomik Urozhaynyi preparations were used in the plantings of prickly spruce (height 1.5-2 m) in the fields of a nursery located in the north of the Moscow region. The following symptoms were observed on young plants: loss of turgor of young shoots, starting from the upper whorls, redness and decay of the needles.
Analysis of soil samples taken from the root zone of the seedlings showed the presence of fungi - pathogens of tracheomycotic wilting and root rot of Fusarium oxysporum, Verticillium dahlia, Pythium debarianum, etc.
As a result of the action of these pathogens, the roots of the plants turn brown, the mycelium of the fungi penetrates the vascular system and fills it with its biomass. Access to nutrients ceases and affected plants gradually dry out.
To improve the affected plants, Trichoplant and Ekomik Urozhayny preparations were used in the following stages:
Stage 1 - for 2-3 weeks with an interval of 3-4 days, foliar treatment of conifers with Trichoplant was carried out (dilution of 50 ml of the drug per 10 liters of water);
2 stage - simultaneously with the first foliar treatment, three times watering was carried out under the root (dilution of 100 ml of the drug per 10 liters of water). The flow rate of the working solution in the first treatment of 10 liters per plant, the second and third treatments were carried out every 5-7 days with a consumption rate of the working solution of 5-7 liters per plant.
3 stage - after the last treatment with Trichoplant®, Ekomik Urozhayny (100 ml per 10 l of water) was added under the root twice a week with an interval of 2 weeks. At the same time, three foliar top dressings of the drug were carried out (10 ml per 10 l of water) with an interval of 3-4 days.
During the season, there was an improvement in the state of prickly spruce, which confirms the possibility of displacing soil pathogens with the beneficial microflora contained in Trichoplant and Ekomik Urozhayny preparations.
The results of soil analysis are presented in table 1.
